Welcome to our final newsletter for 2019, the last edition within the ‘teen years’ in the 20th Century.
How fast has this year gone?
It’s nearly Christmas and everyone I speak to says it feels not long ago that they were in the midst of the 2018 Christmas.
Apart from this year having gone by remarkably fast, looking back at this last decade I have to say that in the world of Isuzu Trucks it has been an interesting period.
Isuzu continued to be the best selling truck in the market, not just because (ahem – dare I say it) it has greater dealerships, but because it really has gone out of its way to manufacture a big range of good value for money, reliable trucks.
Further to that, they really came up with a winner in developing ready to go bodies and choices in engines. This development has enabled many businesses to make purchases for the exact type of truck they’re seeking without having to go to the expense of modifying bodies etc.
And that’s not all.
While trucks have been the biggest part of the Isuzu operation, the D-Max utility and the MU-X SUV have, over the last decade captured an increasingly significant share of the market and after extensive development, they’re now rated as being among the best in their category.
In wrapping up the decade, it has been an exciting time to be an Isuzu dealer.
It’s been an enjoyable and most interesting ride.
We can hardly wait to see what the next decade brings.
