After occupying the old premises for 11 years, Major Motors bit the bullet early last year to have new premises built in 1 Quininup Way, Port Hedland.
The site is well located – roughly halfway between South and Port Hedland. The new facility, more than double the size of the predecessor, has a nice, new shiny reception area, a customer lounge with comfy chairs and a substantial parts and service department. The service department has 12 service bays plus a welding room and a re-build room while the 143sqmetre parts department now has a far greater range of parts. The vastly improved premises will ensure that the branch meets the needs of the Isuzu truck owners in the Pilbara while the service department will better cope with the growth in the number of Isuzu trucks now in the region.
