Isuzu releases a new high-grade oil: We have it at a special introductory price!
Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) has recently released a new formula 10W-40 engine oil (Next Gen Plus 10W-40) that we’re introducing with a special price through our Parts Department.
In introducing the new oil, IAL National Parts Manager, John Plunkett, said the formula had been carefully crafted specifically for modern Isuzu and commercial truck engines.
‘The evolution of our Next Gen Plus engine lubricant brings it in line with the latest CK-4 American Petroleum Institute (API) specifications, an important advancement on the previous API CJ-4 rated oil released in 2007,’ he said.
The new product has been designed to give increased performance and an improvement in overall engine health for commercial vehicles with:
- Improved shear stability
- Improved soot control
- Improved oxidation resistance
In essence, it translates into fuel savings by exercising lower volatility while in operation - reducing viscosity breakdown and oil consumption under high temperature operating conditions.
Increased soot control reduces piston deposits, resulting in better engine reliability and decreased wear and tear over the course of ownership.
Improved oxidation resistance means less sludging and oil degradation, helping to protect against ring sticking.
Lower ash, sulphur and phosphorous levels also helps to protect critical systems for example trucks that are fitted with a Diesel Particulate Diffuser.
All up, the benefits of this oil is an improved engine life expectancy through higher levels of corrosion protection, good oil ‘pumpability’ and anti-wear properties.
This next Gen Plus 10W-40 engine lubricant is available in 5 litre, 20 litre, 205 litre and 1,000 litre quantities.
