Welcome to our first newsletter for 2021 – and I have to say that I am a tad excited about the prospects for this year
Our Sales Department was in an unusual mode - operating online only during our recent 5-day lockdown, while the Parts and Service Departments were in business as normal mode because they’re deemed as being an essential service.
If that’s the worst it is going to be… minor inconveniences and everyone remaining in good health: then I guess we can look forward to 2021 quite positively.
Things do seem to be looking bright; gold and other mining commodity prices are forecasted to remain strong, property sales in Perth have started the year at its best for close to a decade, the forecasts for wheat prices are looking good… and interest rates are to stay at their low, low levels for another 3 years.
Add to this, we have a massive amount of new home building starts as well. Apparently, the total value of new loan commitments across Australia for new home building stood at a record high of $26 billion for the month of December. That’s going to keep a lot of people busy. We’re looking forward to a good year and I hope you are too.
I trust you find this edition of interest and please don’t forget that if there is anything, we can do to help you within the world of trucks and utes, do feel most welcome to call on us.
